Begin maart 2007 is Mobilis, in combinatie met Heijmans Beton- en Waterbouw, gestart met een nieuw project te Utrecht. Bij het hoofdkantoor van Rabobank Nederland is in 3 jaar tijd het nieuwe bestuurscentrum gebouwd. Dit bestuurscentrum bestaat uit 2 torens met een hoogte van elk 105 meter en een naastgelegen ondergrondse parkeergarage.

Het gehele werk is aangenomen door een bouwcombinatie, bestaande uit JP van Eesteren en Heijmans Bouw. De combinatie Heijmans Beton- en Waterbouw - Mobilis fungeerde in het project als onderaannemer. Het werk bestond uit het realiseren van de fundatie ten behoeve van de beide torens en de bouwput voor de ondergrondse parkeergarage.

The Rabo campus houses four different buildings:

•  new building Croeselaan 18
•  present main office Rabobank Nederland
•  building Zilver
•  Auditory

The buildings will be joined by means of a canopy and plaza. Subsequently the present main building will be renovated. Some 6,300 people are going to be employed at the campus. The Rabobank wants to realize a durable building and the most energy efficient office building in the Netherlands.

Not only is the exterior of the new administrative center but also the attitude towards users and the environment innovative.

Everything possible has been done to allow daylight into the building so as to reduce artificial lighting. A smart application of insulation ensures an efficient control of heat and cold. The courtyards which also contribute to internal climate control are sprayed with collected rainwater.

Heijmans Beton- en Waterbouw and Mobilis subcontracted and constructed the foundation for the two towers and the excavation for the subterranean parking garage from JP van Eesteren.
